Day 31: Geneva

Day 31 · Geneva

Rainy day today! I walked over to the MEG (Musée d’ethnographie de Genève) before the rain started up and walked through their regular collection. It seemed a little mish-mashed to me, but I guess that’s what a museum about the diversity of humanity is? It was a lot of artifacts from around the world.

After that, I walked a few blocks to really excellent panini shop for lunch. By that point the rain had really picked up, and I had to admit that my feet (and brain) were just really tired and I wasn’t really up for another museum. I headed back to the hotel to spend a leisurely afternoon packing up (I really made a mess in the last few days).

For my last night out in Europe, I went with Italian. It’s a good thing I’m coming home because I am out of money and I feel like I might give myself gout if I stay here much longer. Tomorrow is the miserable flight home, wish me patience and easy travels!
